Rustic, romantic and cosy
Rustic, romantic and cosy
The stairs that lead from the main entrance down, into the Grill-Stube, seem to be a secret passage among ancient wood, pictures of ancestors and bottles of fine wine… At the end, a thick loden curtain is the last barrier to the world of flavours. Just one peek is enough to realize that the menu is not the only reason for visiting the Steakhouse L’Fanà Food & Wine in La Villa, Alta Badia. The restaurant’s ambience is charmingly cosy: simple and characteristic, intimate and romantic, with a good balance between rusticity and elegance. The core is the big open-plan barbecue, where you can watch chef Klaus at work. All around, everything is made of wood, originating from an ancient barn, that evokes the cosy atmosphere of an Alpine chalet. Exposed beams and genuine antique items add to the ambience some particular charm and authenticity, enhanced by the soft light of numerous candles. Original handicraft objects and old wine bottles act as a perfect backdrop for savouring barbecue specialities, served on big trays and wooden boards.
